Welcome…
Welcome to Peachy Love Bug — a home for healing hearts, soulful songs, whimsical books, and gentle reminders that the treasure we’re seeking is often right where we started.
I’m Elizabeth — a therapist, writer, mother, and now… a singer and storyteller. For years, I silenced myself after being told I didn’t have a voice worth hearing. I believed it. It took heartbreak, surrender, and the unraveling of everything I thought I knew to find my way back to God — and ultimately, to myself.
Most of these songs on this site began over 13 years ago. Today, it’s come to life using music my husband created in a season that almost tore us apart. But from the ashes, something sacred emerged. A family. A faith. A voice. And now, Peachy Love Bug — a creative brand where music, children’s books, and soul stories come together to awaken wonder, joy, and healing in both kids and the kid within.
Whether you're here for a sweet song, a healing message, or just a little sparkle for your day — I’m so glad you’re here.
Music. Magic. Healing for the Soul
🎶 You Don’t Have to Be Afraid of a Daddy Long Legs
This cheerful song invites kids — and the kid inside all of us — to meet their fears with curiosity, music, and laughter.
Originally written as a playful tune to ease fear around spiders, the song became so beloved, it later inspired the children’s book You Don’t Have to Be Afraid of a Daddy Long Legs.
With a friendly spider in a top hat and tiny shoes, this tune turns creepy-crawlies into cuddly companions — helping children find calm, courage, and a little joy along the way.
